tonight i grew my hair long and took out my nose ring
no more bleach or dye or pay-for-puncture
this is the most natural my head has felt in years.
the Applebee’s waitress was right when she said to my candy-stripe-coiffed
14-year-old self: IT’S JUST A PHASE. (at the time
i was highly offended, but i took myself for serious back then)
now i know there’s no use in committing, only
documenting. the only trouble is that invincible ink
