10 Activities That Have Kept Me Sane/Excited/Away From The Computer Lab

1. hanging out with Kate nearly every day even though we live 70 miles from each other (that’s her with me above, @ George’s Cafe in Terre Haute). From now on she will be referred to as “cosmic roomie” due to our former roommate status, our ability to mind-read and a recent series of serendipitous events.
2. upping my car’s miles by 700 
3. staying in Chicago with Kyle: sitting on the rocks on Lake Michigan, grilling out with strangers, cutie patrolling while stuck in traffic on Lake Shore Drive, eating an amazing pineapple-topped burger at Hamburger Mary’s, and plenty of shopping.
4. Getting soaked dancing in this fountain
5. Exploring underground tunnels on the ISU campus
6. Thrifting a bright blue lamp, swirly brown American Tourister tacklebox, gunmetal gray cardigan, heart-shaped jewelry box, two coffee mugs and two bowls for $4.12. I lurve you, Value Village. (Thank you to the pretty gal in 70s glasses who gave me her extra 30% off coupon!)
7. Getting inspired by: my cosmic roomie and her endless enthusiasm, my new Moleskin journal and its ultra-thick, bleedproof pages, trying new restaurants every single day, games, red/gray/white/black, shiny things, reading and peoplewatching from a clandestine perch in front of LP, disposable cameras, Tarot cards, saying “yes”
8. Landing a studio apartment that is eerily similiar to what I’ve been envisioning
9. SERENDIPITY every day!
10. Planning all the amazing things that are about to happen
